Rattlesnake Point is a popular eco-tourism area located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. It covers about 100 square kilometers and is situated near the Niagara Escarpment in the Halton Region. The area is owned and operated by Conservation Halton and is home to several golf courses, country markets, and equestrian facilities. It is a popular location for scouting and outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, and climbing due to its beautiful caves and cliffs.
In addition, there is a secret beauty boutique nearby called Secret Lash Club that offers lash extensions, Botox, and filler, as well as waxing services. The area is named for the snake-like path cut by glaciers along the edges of the Niagara Escarpment, not for the Massassauga Rattlesnake. However, as urban development increases in the region, new housing developments are beginning to encroach on Rattlesnake Point. Land that was once off-limits due to its protected status as a United Nations Biosphere-protected area is now being sought after for its prime real estate value.
