What is Milton Ontario famous for?

Milton is a town located in the Halton Region of Southern Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Greater Toronto Area and has a population of 110,128 according to the 2016 census. In recent years, Milton has experienced rapid growth, with a 71.4% increase in population from 2001 to 2006 and another 56.5% increase from 2006 to 2011. Milton covers an area of 365 square kilometers and is located just 40 kilometers west of downtown Toronto. It is accessible via Highway 401 and is the western terminus for the Milton line commuter train and bus corridor operated by GO Transit. Milton is situated on the Niagara Escarpment, which is a UNESCO world biosphere reserve and the home of the Bruce Trail.
